Glitzy is a Chicago-based music zine with a creative and extravagant approach to artist engagement

Glitzy takes a conceptual and overly artistic approach to press, connecting artists to audiences through playful and thought-provoking themes, and providing chances for photoshoots, live sessions, multimedia interviews & more in and out of the Chicago area.

Glitzy is the result of four creatives in the music industry navigating post-grad burnout and keeping passion alive by providing an themselves an artistic outlet, and providing artists they love a chance to tell their stories, share their music, and further connect with the world around them.

Glitzy was founded by Makenzie Creden, Avalon Smith, Josie Stahler, and Aly Westrin in May 2024.
